The Fairmont Lions Club conducted a Free Eye Screening at Middletown Mall for the United Way. About 50 area residents were screened for visual acuity and for eye pressure. Many of those were referred to their eye doctors for further examination and several received financial help from the Fairmont Lions Club toward a full exam and eyeglasses.
