Renzy Cochran, a student at West Fairmont Middle School, is the school's winner in the 2010 Lions Peace Poster Contest. "My poster reminds me of peace because it has a dove on it with an olive branch in its mouth. It has a rainbow, too. My poster uses a variety of colors. My peace sign on my poster has different flags from different countries. There are also different boys and girls around the peace sign holding hands." Her poster also won the competition among the others submitted by clubs throughout District 29-L and will now go on to compete at the state level. The state winner will go on to be judged in the international competition.
